The Marikina Dialysis Center opened its doors on April 16, 2024, marking the city's 394th founding anniversary. Operated in partnership with TresMedica Trading, the facility houses 22 Japan-sourced dialysis machines on the 4th floor of the Marikina Sports Complex on McDonald's Avenue.
Mayor Marcy Teodoro and Representative Maan Teodoro led the ribbon-cutting alongside the TresMedica clinical team. The center provides free dialysis to residents, including erythropoietin (EPO), intravenous iron, and single-use dialyzers - the same TresMedica No Balance Billing model extended to LGU-funded patients.
Emergency partnerships with Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center and Marikina Valley Hospital ensure continuity of care for any patient who needs acute escalation.
